Not much time here lately~

Since our return from Washington State I haven't had much time to spend here; but, my time away from blogging was well spent. Our daughter and grandson Coy were here from Virginia for several days. They just left this afternoon. Coy is just fourteen months old and I miss seeing him grow up. Each time they come to Raleigh, I'm surprised at what he can do.

This time was very special for us all. Daughter told us that little Coy will have a baby brother or sister sometime in June! This will be grandbaby #4!

Our other grandson Nicholas is three years old today - November 5 and our granddaughter Kathryn was five years old October 4. I see them nearly everyday - they live only three minutes from us. I feel so blessed to have these three children in my life ... and another one to come!

Glad you're doing better Deborah. The grandchildren are so lovely - glad you get to see them. With another on the way you will be a very busy Grandma!

I have so many pics to post from the trip, and of course need to write about the places too as they are all interesting - it all takes time and I feel somewhat overwhelmed at present.

Bob goes to NY tomorrow for a quick business trip and then we are off to Emerald Isle next weekend - looks like the weather will be pleasant - don't you just love these Autumn days and cooler nights?

Life is throwing me some unexpected curves and I have to make some adjustments. I'm trying hard to simplify and downsize - I just have had too many things going on. The Holidays are now looming - this year I plan to do a low key Xmas, different from my usual over the top blast! I actually want Bob to take me to Prague but I doubt this will happen!

Hope to catch up in person again - perhaps we can work something out soon.
Stop coughing and be well. Hugs.

Deboprah what a lovely picture of your grandchildren, they are very good looking.
Do you find as a grandmother you have much less time in your day, I do. Fitting everything in that I want or need to do can overwhelm me. I see my two grandsons most days and my daughter Katie works shifts so she pops in....her baby is due in April. I seem to spend a lot of time making tea!
We would not want it any other way though, would we.XX
