I came visiting by way of Suzanna's Antiques and I am glad I did. Lovely room and I could curl up in there and stay a long time.

These are so relaxing. I think I may have to nap in your guest room.

Pretty, pretty, pretty! I love reading in bed, too. I remember my grandmother having a "bedlight" and was delighted to find one at Tuesday Morning recently. Your bedroom looks read-alicious. There is chocolate on the bedside table, I hope!

Would that have been my bedroom Miss Bee???
I'm so sad also. Are you sticking around home? How is MIL?
Do you think maybe you could meet us at Jeanne's house?
Let me know dear friend. I can't believe I won't be enjoying all the very pretty things in your guest room. It looks lonely without me : (

That's amazing you found a book like mine - and your price was much lower!!!!!

Where have you been hiding "Miss Bee"? so glad you're backing blogging. We've missed you and so much seems to have happened in the past few months.

My big trip to Africa is in May - hope to see you before I leave. Now it's warming up we must get out and have lunch or go to SuzAnna's.

Your guest room looks so inviting - is someone special coming to visit? A blog friend perhaps!

Hugs - Mary

I found your site on my friend Cindy (Applestone Cottage).

I was browsing through and got excited. I have the same book Country Kitchen photographed by James Merrill, sitting beside me. Many, many photos of my old kitchen and gardens are in that book. I asked the editor WHY they would photograph my tiny place and she said, "anyone can do something good with a big kitchen, it's the challenges that are exciting."

So they came to California for two looooooooong days and photographed everything. It was hard work, but fun.

All joys to you,

Hi Deborah.
I love all those things too. Can I come and stay in your guest room? I love everything about it. But if I came you might find that chair and footstool gone when I left!
