Anyone Missing Me?

Where is Deborah?

What? Do I hear someone out there asking about me?

Actually, I've been around...just not posting lately. Do you ever just get tired and in a blue funk where you can't think of anything to write?...no inspiration to guide your hand to write something interesting? That's where I've been. There, and spending a lot of time with doctors - most recently with a chiropractor/acupuncturist.

My muse has skipped town, so until she returns to whisper sweet nothings in my ear, I believe I will post photos I have taken and OH!...IDEA! ...perhaps a give-away! Yes!...that's it! A give-away!

Tomorrow, after my doctor's appointment and hair appointment and a trip to DMV to replace my dry-cleaned driver's license, we are leaving to visit our daughter and her family in Virginia for a few days. She's expecting our grandson on June 13 - our fourth granchild. When I return, next week, I'll pick a name from comments here on this post. I suppose what I'll give away will be a surprise, as even I don't know what it will be yet! But never fear, it will be great!

When, o' when will it end?!

"Our house is a very, very fine house
With two cats in the yard
Life used to be so hard
Now everything is easy..."

Well, not really. Just like other homes, this old house needs some repairs and for the time being things are NOT easy!

On the street where we live. You can tell that's our place just ahead.

The workers can get truck after truck into our drive and on the street, but I can't get out!

I did get another one of our cars out earlier ... after asking workers to move three trucks. I went for some groceries and had to park on the road upon returning home. You guessed it ... it took a couple trips from the car to the house to empty the car. This was to scene I saw on the walk to the house.

One little potted hosta and a few azaleas off in the distance amongst the debris.

Our driveway - this trailer has been sitting here for two weeks now. There are flowers growing somewhere under those blue tarps.

Hopefully finishing up our new roof.

Men, machines, mayhem out of every window I look...

The deck sits empty of potted plants and flowers. I don't go out for fear of having something dropped on my head!

With the noise, hammering and pounding and the all men populating the premises, I see no birds, nor squirrels. However, late one night last week, I happened to see two green eyes peering back at me from the roof of our workshop. At first I was sure it was a fox. Taking a longer look, I saw that it was a nosey cat looking into our second story window. Keep watching Kitty. Next week, they will be INSIDE the house!

My next post...a promise of things to come ... at least on the outside!

~AN AWARD!
and
SCENES FROM OLD TOWN~

Donna at An Enchanted Cottage bestowed an award on me! Thank you ever so much Donna, for this "You Make My Day Award!" Could not have come at a better time as I haven't been feeling up to par this past week.

I want to leave you with a few images from Old Town, where I spent most of my time...and money...while in Albuquerque.
