February, being the month of love, calls for a little poetry, as did a couple of visitors here on my blog.

This one is not published, but I hope you will enjoy reading this short one.

light that opens my weary eyes
wakening my spirit’s morning
causing my stilled voice to sing
force that unwraps my sleeping cover
my companion, my impassioned lover

I LOVE this poem Deborah - thanks so much for sharing it for February and St. Valentine's Day which is coming up soon.

Can you believe this warm weather - tomorrow will be 79 degrees! Too warm for me - hope Winter returns for a while longer.

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my quilled cardinal!
I believe we're neighbors, too! I'm right down the road in Hillsborough. I have the same birds at my feeders!
This OWOH has been great for meeting people!
