Please come in and sit a while. I left the door open for you. I haven't been around lately due to a family medical crisis. But, please come on in and take a look around. I'm sure there are some older posts that you haven't seen.

While you are here, please keep some good thoughts for our family. We will need even more strength in the days ahead.

Alma, thank you for the forty-six years we've had together as mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Thank you for the wonderful man you raised to be my husband. Thank you for teaching me country cooking. Thank you for being a loving grandmother and great-grandmother that my children will never forget. Thank you for showing elegance, dignity and grace in the face of agonizing pain. I love you, dear lady.

Hello Deborah! I found you through your post on Cherry Hill Cottage (one of my favorite places to visit). I ADORE your chair and can't wait to look around on your blog.
Blessings,
Patty

I love the photo of this chair! More than that - I hope everything is ok. I had a mother in law for 23 years that was a woman that was Godly and kindness. I never heard her say anything negative about anyone. I once wrote her a letter thanking her for all the Sunday dinners that we might not have said "thank you" for and how I now realized it wasn't that easy to come up with something new for that many years. May you feel God holding you in His hands, Jennifer jennsthreegraces
