"The Earth Laughs in Flowers..."

...Ralph Waldo Emerson

I won't be around a lot this week. My grandson and granddaughter are staying with us until Thursday evening. They will be in school and swim lessons and ballet - I'm going to be doing a lot of running.

I hope you will enjoy these pictures that I took.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful photos!!! What kind of camera do you have? I am in the market for a new one, and I would really like one that takes close ups like yours, as I photograph lots of flowers as well. I LOVE to take pics of them, but my camera just does not take really good close up shots most of the time, they tend to get blurry.

Wow Deborah! You are a master at taking photos of flowers. They are so pretty that I think I can hear that bumblebee buzz and smell the garden.

Deborah I think the same bee was on my Lantana just yesterday - I was out there frantically 'snapping' him before he flew off to your garden!!! The photos are fabulous.

Well, see you have a busy week planned - enjoy it with the children. Jasmin is with her mom who's on vacation this week - so I'll miss her. Bob goes to Boston tomorrow and I hope to meet Vanessa at Brier Creek after dropping him at the airport - we're going to 'do' Homegoods together, maybe head over to see the gals at SuzAnna's - would be great if you could join us, any chance? Call me if you can.

Hugs - Mary.

Thank you for answering my question about your camera! I have to laugh because that's the same kind of camera I have! I do manage to get some good ones with it, like the pink peony on my blog, but alot of them get blurry. Hubby says maybe a tripod would help. I'll have to try the cropping trick, thank you for sharing that with me! I'll let you know if I find another camera!

Hi Deborah, I'm stopping by to let you know I tagged you. I hope you don't mind, I don't know too many people, so I chose among those I've "talked" to already, and those who left me comments on my first Pink Saturday! (plus it gave me another reason to stop by and admire your wonderful flower photos again!)
