...and the Pink goes on...

I found these pinks on my last trip to SUZANNA'S when VANESSA and I met there with MARY to say "Au Revoire" to Mary as she was leaving for a most fantastic trip to the South of France to visit with family and to meet other blogger friends.

You might enjoy reading her post from France.

Here is something our PINK SATURDAY hostess, Beverly might like - this pink Florida-inspired door.

Look at this darling Japanese Sake set!

A Japanese recipe for you from About.Com -

Steamed Rice
with Edamame

4 servings

Edamame are green soy beans which are rich in proteins, vitamins, and fibers. Boiled edamame in pods is known as a healthy snack. Shelled edamame beans can be added in various dishes, such as stir-fry, soup, and so on. Adding edamame makes a dish more colorful and nutritious.

2 cups Japanese rice
2 1/4 cups water
3 inches kombu
2 Tbsp sake
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1 cup boiled and shelled edamame, or frozen shelled edamame

Put the rice in a bowl and wash it with cold water. Repeat washing until the water becomes clear. Drain the rice in a colander and set aside. Place the rice in rice cooker and add water. Further, add konbu, sake, soy sauce, and salt in the rice. Let the rice soak in the water at least 30 min. Start the cooker. Meanwhile, shell boiled edamame, or thaw frozen shelled edamame. When rice is cooked, add shelled edamame over rice and mix lightly.

The number of PINK SATURDAY bloggers have grown to such a large number - just shows how many of us love pink!

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY TO YOU ALL!

Good morning Deborah, That door is so Florida. I lived in Fl. since 1948 until we moved here going on two years ago. My parents moved us to Miami from our farm in Michigan for my father's health.

The pink Sake set is so pretty. I bet that rice is delicious as well as nutritious. I guess sake is used like a wine added to a dish. Well sake is wine but I have never bought it before. Something new to try.

On Friday I thought you were still out of town. I'm sorry I said you were not home. It was so late when I finished that post I just fell in bed. I should have checked my friend. I am glad you are back in action. I missed you. Have a great weekend. And thank you for your sweet comments on Friday's post. It means a lot to me.

Love...Jeanne

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Deborah.

You are so right, I do love that door. Of course, my husband would think I flipped my lid if I brought it home. ;-) But, you know these men sometimes just don't understand the beauty we see if different things.
