~Florida Pinks~

From a hallway window in our hotel in Daytona Beach, we saw this beautiful pink sunset on our last evening there last week.

We visited The Casements in Ormond Beach, just outside Daytona. The Casements is the former winter home of John D. Rockefeller. Proudly showing off pink is The Casements skylight.

The rumor is that Rockefeller usually stayed at the former Ormond Hotel and found out that he was being charged more per night than the other guests so he bought property across the street and built the estate.

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY TO YOU ALL!

Hi Deborah

Happy Pink Saturday!

Florida has some of the prettiest sunsets. We saw some in Key West when we were on vacation which were spectacular.

Hi Deborah, I had computer problems this AM. so now I am trying to catch up. Love the beautiful pink sky. I have been in Daytona and Ormond Beach many, many, times. My sister lived there for many years and our daughter had her first job there when she graduated from college. Would you believe she is a Mechanical Engineer? She worked with all men and her dh now, was so jealous he proposed marriage. Smile.

Love, Jeanne

Isn't nature pretty? What a view something to top off you vacation splendidly. Can you imagine living in that home with such a beautiful window. It must have pretty darn rough. And the story about how he built across the street in that "in your face kinda way" was something. Hmmm. Happy Pink Saturday. ~ Robyn

Your images look so beautiful--certainly a good face for the color pink! I've been wanting to participate in this carnival so long. We just don't have any pink in our new house in Berlin. Must live through all of you! Thanks.

Hello Deborah, just stopped by to say How are you today? We have very cold weather but no snow. I have therapy today and that takes up the afternoon. Not much longer though. Another week and I'll be done. It seems like forever. Take care.
