I thought you might enjoy seeing our sky as I saw it this afternoon. Granddaughter and I were leaving the mall ... I took these photos from the parking lot.
As I was taking her home tonight we searched the sky for stars. Kathryn said, "The stars are rather bright and cheerful". I thought that quite poetic coming from a little girl who just turned five two days ago.
Yes, I do believe every cloud has a silver lining and the stars ... well, they are just and "bright and cheerful" as my precious granddaughter.

Wow-it looks almost biblical-stunning photos!
Kathryn's so sweet - and she said the right words in that instance - beautiful!
Thanks for visiting Deborah - can't believe I missed the rain!! We were lucky for the wedding - which was great - drizzle earlier but none for the wedding or outdoor reception.
Yes busy this week including a full Grand Jury day tomorrow - but guess I'll survive and get on that plane at RDU in just a week!
More later - unpacking, laundry, ironing etc. ugh!!
I love photos like those! The sun rays remind me of God taking people to heaven :-)
