It happened today - October 5 ... it came late afternoon. I was out shopping - went to Target and while there it came ... the RAIN! "Big deal" some might say. Our area has been experiencing a drought for most of the summer. It WAS a big deal...it IS a big deal! We have prayed for rain - we had nearly given up hope.
Coming out of Target to my car, I got drenched in the downpour - SOAKED!
Did I care? NO!
Where was my umbrella? ... Umbrella? - what's that? No one here has had an umbrella in their car or on their person all summer.
I splashed happily in the rapidly running puddles on my way to the car, almost singing in the rain.
Glorious day!

Hi Deborah, I would do the same thing....happily splash in the puddles and singing...la de dah. We need rain reallll bad here too. Everything is drying up and they now have restrictions on watering anything. Have a great day! ~ Lynn
